Plot Synopsis

In two 60-minute programs, Palladia presents the best highlights and musical performances from the annual Oxegen Festival, which has been held each year from 2004-2013 -- except for a one-year hiatus in 2012 -- on one weekend in July or August at Punchestown Racecourse in Kildare, Ireland. Palladia aired Oxegen Festival 2010 on March 12, 2011 with the first hour featuring Muse, Kasabian, the Editors and Rise Against, while the second hour included music from Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire, Fatboy Slim and the Temper Trap. Oxegen Festival 2011 premiered on Palladia on September 5, 2011 with All Time Low, Beady Eyes, Black Eyed Peas and Two Door Cinema Club performing in the first hour and Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Slash appearing in Hour 2. After its one-year hiatus in 2012, Palladia premiered Oxegen Festival 2013 on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, with a two-part special that featured music from Calvin Harris, Pitbull, Rita Ora, Naughty Boy, Labrinth and more.
