Plot Synopsis

A celebration of parental incompetence, OUTNUMBERED is a partly improvised comedy that follows Pete and Sue as they try to raise their three young children: five-year-old Karen, who is a tomboy with a talent for interrogation and the smarts to outwit her parents in the endless negotiations over what she'll eat; seven-year-old Ben, who lies about everything, including his mystery illnesses and his father's friendship with Gordon Brown; and 11-year-old Jake, who is a quiet -- some might even say depressed -- overachiever. As part of its "Ministry of Laughs" comedy block, BBC America aired the U.S. premiere of the series on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11pm ET.
