Plot Synopsis

The First Family of Heavy Metal returns to TV. "Osbournes: Reloaded" combines outrageous on-stage antics with pre-taped stunts and a little bit of music in this rowdy comedy variety series. In the studio the Osbournes combine some Springer-like moments with audience participation: Sharon introduces a grandmother who is secretly a stripper; an unsuspecting playboy is setup by his ex-girlfriends and the jerk is asked to identify each woman by first and last name; Ozzy performs an impromptu wedding -- much to the surprise of the groom; an audience member is selected to come onstage and makeout with a stranger for $100 -- with hilarious consequences. The Osbournes also venture outside the studio for three recurring, pre-taped segments: "Osbourne in the USA" shows family members working in everyday jobs, like a fast-food drive-thru; in "Osbournes Meet the Osbournes" the family travels cross-country to live with other families named Osbourne; child-size versions of Ozzy and Sharon recreate Osbourne moments in the profanity-laced "Littlest Osbournes." FOX intended for this show to be a six-episode series. When the first episode aired, critics universally panned the program and multiple affiliates refused to show it, and only this first episode aired on FOX.
