Plot Synopsis

In this modern take on the classic '70s sitcom, THE ODD COUPLE explores the relationship between two mismatched roommates: the messy Oscar Madison and the neat freak Felix Unger. Oscar and Felix are two former college buddies who become unlikely roommates after the demise of their marriages. It's not long after Oscar lets Felix move in that Oscar fears he's made a monumental mistake. However, despite how exasperated they make each other, these mismatched friends agree they can help each other move on from their divorces and somehow make this crazy living arrangement work -- with the help of friends, family and visitors, like: Teddy, who is Oscar's long-time agent; Oscar's assistant, Dani; Emily, their quirky next door neighbor, who helps Felix adapt to his new life as a bachelor; Emily's model sister, Casey, who is also her roommate; Roy, Oscar's friend; and Gaby, Oscar's ex-wife. In addition to starring in and being executive producer for THE ODD COUPLE, Matthew Perry also penned the pilot. Season 2 of THE ODD COUPLE premiered on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 8:30pm ET/PT on CBS. In the season opener, "All About Eavesdropping," Oscar and Felix become obsessed with eavesdropping on their bickering neighbors, so they try to subtly intervene and help them save their marriage. Also, Emily and Dani's friendship is tested when they train together to race to the top of the Empire State Building. Season 3 of THE ODD COUPLE premiered on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9:30pm ET/PT on CBS. In the season opener, "London Calling," Oscar is forced to choose between his romantic plans with Charlotte and helping to save Felix's relationship as Emily decides to extend her stay in London and Felix starts to fall apart. Musical group Boyz II Men guest star as themselves.

On Monday, January 30, 2017 from 9-10pm ET/PT, CBS premiered the Season 3 finale of THE ODD COUPLE, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the night's first new episode (9pm), "The God Couple," Oscar grumbles when Felix helps Dani prepare for a choir solo and encourages the group to attend church to support her. Then, in the season ender (9:30pm), "Conscious Odd Coupling," after a heated argument, Oscar and Felix decide it might be best to change their living arrangement and find new roommates.
