Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Steven Soderbergh, NOW APOCALYPSE is a half-hour comedy series that begins with former aspiring actor Ulysses and his friends trying to navigate the strange and bewildering city of Los Angeles. Carly, Severine and Ford are on quests pursuing love, sex and fame. Between sexual and romantic dating-app adventures, Ulysses grows increasingly troubled as foreboding premonitory dreams make him wonder if some kind of dark and monstrous conspiracy is going on, or if he is just smoking too much weed. He is grounded by his longtime friendship with Ford, a beefcake screenwriter who is dating Severine, a sexually voracious astrobiological theorist. Rounding out their squad is Carly, an aspiring actress and covert cam-girl whose relationship with her boyfriend finally sparks when they start to explore BDSM. Co-written by SLUTEVER sexpert Karley Sciortino, NOW APOCALYPSE was an Official Selection of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, with the first three episodes premiering Tuesday, January 29 at 6pm at Library Centre Theatre in Park City. The series had its official series premiere on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz.

On Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, Starz premiered "Everything Is Gone Forever," the season finale of NOW APOCALYPSE. Uly and Isaac's relationship disintegrates when Isaac learns about Gabriel; Carly fights with Jethro about her camming; Ford wants to know where he and Severine stand; Carly gets a big career break.
