Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Elmo, THE NOT-TOO-LATE SHOW WITH ELMO is a celeb-studded talk show that features familiar SESAME STREET friends like Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie, as well as celebrity guests. In each 20-minute episode, Elmo interviews guests such as fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and John Oliver, comedian John Mullaney, New York Times best-selling author Kwame Alexander, actress Blake Lively, and award-winning musical acts Lil Nas X and The Jonas Brothers. THE NOT-TOO-LATE SHOW WITH ELMO premiered on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, as HBO Max released the series' first three episodes on the day the streaming service launched.

THE NOT-TOO-LATE SHOW WITH ELMO returned for its second season on Thursday, September 30, 2021, as HBO Max released the first three episodes of the new season, featuring guests Drew Barrymore & Keedron Bryant; Seth Meyers & Kelly Rowland; and Brady Noon & WanMor. A new episode drops each Thursday, featuring guests like Amber Ruffin & Bebe Rexha; Jenna Bush Hager & Sophie Fatu; Ames McNamara & Leslie Odom Jr.; Dani and Dannah Lane & AJR; and more.
