Plot Synopsis

Based on Joe Hill's 2013 book of the same name, NOS4A2 is a one-hour supernatural horror drama series that centers on Vic McQueen, a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx. Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland -- a twisted place of Manx's imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims -- without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.

NOS4A2 returned for its 10-episode second season on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC, with a simulcast on BBC America for all of Season 2. NOS4A2's second season picks up eight years after the events of Season 1. Vic McQueen remains more determined than ever to destroy Charlie Manx. Charlie, having faced his own mortality, emerges desperate for revenge against Vic. This time, he sets his sights on the person who means most to Vic -- her eight-year-old son Wayne. The race for Wayne's soul sends Vic and Charlie on a high-speed collision course, forcing both to confront the mistakes of their pasts in order to secure a hold on Wayne's future.

On Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT, AMC premiered "Bats," the Season 2 finale of NOS4A2, with a simulcast on BBC America. Vic McQueen makes her final stand against Charlie Manx; Lou and Tabitha solve a Christmasland riddle; Millie Manx wrestles with regret.
