Plot Synopsis

In each episode of NO KITCHEN REQUIRED, three chefs -- Michelin-starred restaurateur Michael Psilakis, first ever CHOPPED Grand Champion chef Madison Cowan, and elite personal chef Kayne Raymond -- are dropped into a remote location, where each must work with the locals to hunt, forage and collect ingredients to create a locally-inspired meal that will be judged by the community. The trio leave the comforts of their kitchens as they are dropped into ten locations around the world, including: the Caribbean island Dominica, where they meet the Kalinago community and must master spearfishing, track a manicou through the dense jungle, and blindly hunt for crustaceans in dangerously murky water; New Zealand, where they meet the Maori people and must find success on the hunting grounds while native son Kayne must prove himself and honor his Maori heritage; Chiang Dao - Thailand, where they meet the people of Palong Hill whose hunting and cooking methods have remained the same for hundreds of years; Fiji, where the locals were once feared as cannibals and Michael almost loses a valuable appendage to a crab; the Big Island of Hawaii, where they attend a traditional luau where they learn about the native culture and culinary traditions before hunting for wild boar and diving deep underwater to spear octopus; the swamps of Louisiana, where the chefs risk life and limb to secure their ingredients for meals for their Cajun judges; Koh Lanta - Thailand, where the chefs meet the Uraklavoy Sea Gypsies, an ancient nomadic people who have survived for hundreds of years by fishing these waters; Apache country in New Mexico, where the chefs learn that they will be cooking with almost no extra ingredients for their Native American judges; Belize, where modern Mayans welcome them and treat them to traditional Mayan cuisine while the chefs tangle with local animals such as armadillos, iguanas and gibnut; and Seminole country in Florida, where the hunt is filled with such unpredictable prey in dangerous territory that one chef unable join the others for the forage.
