Plot Synopsis

In 90 DAY FIANCE, couples had 90 days to marry their foreign-born fiances or return home. Most of them sealed the deal, but they're realizing that the hard part is far from over. Now, this series follows couples as they continue to navigate their lives together in America.

On Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 8-10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered the third season of 90 DAY FIANCE: HAPPILY EVER AFTER? The six couples this season include:

Jorge, 27 (Los Angeles, CA) and Anfisa, 22 (Russia): Following a break up and a nasty confrontation at last season's Tell All, Jorge and Anfisa are living separate lives. Jorge, still feeling resentful, considers filing for divorce, even though it means that Anfisa could be sent back home. Anfisa is working on building her life in America and insists that she will remain in the U.S. no matter what happens. But then someone from Jorge's past shows up claiming that Jorge is the father of a ten year-old girl, making Anfisa more angry that his finances might not have been the only thing he lied about.

Nicole, 24 (Bradenton, FL) and Azan, 25 (Morocco): Azan is gearing up for his K-1 VISA interview at the U.S. Consulate in Casablanca, Morocco. He and Nicole are hoping everything will be approved so that they can finally begin their lives together in America and get past this roadblock that has prevented them from moving forward. Nicole's family is still skeptical of their relationship, and while Nicole urges everyone that she wants to be taken seriously, Azan gives her new reasons to doubt her own trust in him.

Chantel, 26 (Atlanta, GA) and Pedro, 27 (Dominican Republic): After two weddings, both in the U.S. and abroad, Chantel and Pedro worked hard to try and bring their families together, but ended up creating more of an unsettling feud between them. Money is a constant issue of angst while Pedro continues to focus on supporting his family back home but Chantel feels that they are not progressing financially. Still suspicious of Pedro's intentions, Chantel's family is looking to hire a private investigator to find out if their new son-in-law has any big secrets.

Molly, 42 (Woodstock, GA) and Luis, 27 (Dominican Republic): After spending a few weeks apart, Luis eventually came home and Molly gave him a second chance. However, it's obvious that Luis is still not ready to step into a fatherly role to Molly's two daughters. Molly's eldest daughter Olivia openly does not approve of Luis and decides the only way to deal with her new normal is to leave. Will Molly continue to try to make Luis into the man she wants him to be?

Russ, 31 (Oklahoma City, OK) and Paola, 30 (Colombia): After being in Miami for nearly a year, Paola is finally happy with her budding career and strong group of friends. Then, a call from back home rushes Paola and Russ to Colombia when they hear that Paola's sick grandmother is not doing well. Once there, Paola's family confronts her about feeling like she's disappeared from the family, and blaming Russ for taking her away. Paola's family isn't the only one unhappy with Russ, things get heated between Russ and Paola's best friend Juan and Russ tells Paola she must choose between the two of them.

David, 49 (Louisville, KY) and Annie, 25 (Thailand): After being cut off for good from his friend Chris, David and Annie are still struggling financially. David tries to rekindle his relationship with his children after being out of the picture for years, but it's not the sweet reunion that he hopes for. His children don't welcome Annie with open arms and she's not receptive to them either. Annie continues to realize that her image of the sought after American dream isn't what she thought it would be, as she spends her days stuck at home and doesn't know if she'll be able to make it in the U.S.

Season 4 of 90 DAY FIANCE: HAPPILY EVER AFTER premiered on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 8-10pm ET/PT on TLC. The couples in the fourth season include:

Ashley, 32 (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania) and Jay, 20 (Jamaica): After falling for each other on her trip to Jamaica, Jay ditched his playboy lifestyle to marry Ashley... or has he? Ashley's trust in Jay is put to the test when she discovers that her much younger husband has been entertaining multiple women on a dating app.

Colt, 33 (Las Vegas, Nevada) and Larissa, 32 (Brazil): Tensions have been high between Colt and Larissa, ever since she was arrested only two days before their wedding. As the ticking clock counts down to Larissa's trial date, Colt hopes to make peace and put the past behind them. But if Larissa is found guilty, she could be deported.

Russ, 32 (Oklahoma City, OK) and Paola, 31 (Colombia): From beginning a modeling career, to getting pregnant and having a healthy baby boy earlier this year, Paola and Russ have been living their Miami lives to the fullest. Now that some time has passed since Paola left Oklahoma City after feeling rejected by Russ' family, they decide that it might be time to finally attempt to heal the divide between Paola and her in-laws.

Chantel, 27 (Atlanta, GA) and Pedro, 27 (Dominican Republic): A physical confrontation between Pedro and Chantel's family last season left their marriage in shambles. When Chantel blames Pedro for the fight, he returns to the Dominican Republic. Will Chantel's decision to go after her husband be enough to save their marriage, or will she uncover more chaos?

Elizabeth, 28 (Tampa, FL) and Andrei, 32 (Moldova): Elizabeth's father has helped set the couple up with rent-free housing while Andrei works on securing a steady job. With a baby on the way, Andrei has little choice but to accept his in-laws offer, although he fears that this is Elizabeth's family's latest attempt to hold him in their debt. When the bills start piling up and Elizabeth's family refuses to back off, Andrei inches closer and closer to his boiling point.

Nicole, 25 (Bradenton, FL) and Azan, 26 (Morocco): After postponing their wedding to open a business instead, Nicole's tourist Visa expired, and she had no choice but to return to Florida. Now, Nicole is sleeping on a family member's couch while continuing to send Azan money. With her plans to reunite with him on a Caribbean island soon, will Nicole's family finally be able to convince her that Azan may simply be exploiting her before it is too late?
90 DAY FIANCE: HAPPILY EVER AFTER returned for its fifth season on Sunday, June 14, 2020 from 8-10pm ET/PT on TLC. The new season continues to dive back into the lives of some of the franchise's most popular couples as they continue to test the waters of their relationships while navigating life in America. Couples for Season 5 include:

Colt, 34 (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Larissa, 33 (Brazil): Newly divorced, Colt has jumped right back into the dating world and has fallen for another Brazilian woman named Jess. With Colt traveling to Chicago to spend more time with Jess in person, things are starting to get serious, and Jess invites Colt to Brazil to get to know her family. However, Colt has been keeping his relationship a secret from his mom Debbie and is nervous how his protective mother will take the news. Will she be able to let go of the past and trust another Brazilian woman with her son's heart? Meanwhile, Larissa is single again after breaking up with her now ex-boyfriend Eric, and she's focusing on enjoying her life in America, treating herself to some cosmetic surgeries, and even testing the waters on her first ever blind date. But when she realizes the single life isn't for her, will Larissa jump back into things with an old flame?

Kalani, 31 (Washington, Utah) and Asuelu, 24 (Samoa): Life is more hectic than ever for Kalani and Asuelu as the couple manages having two kids under two years old, and their relationship has certainly taken a toll. The couple struggles to get on the same page and Kalani's family worries that Asuelu isn't doing the best job of supporting her and their children. After realizing that some of Aseulu's emotions are coming from his deeper-rooted home-sickness, Kalani and Asuelu make plans to reconnect with some of Asuelu's family members. But things take a turn as more family issues bubble up, leading Kalani to her breaking point.

Tania, 30 (Colchester, Conn.) and Syngin, 30 (South Africa): The honeymoon phase is short-lived for Tania and Syngin-as they were getting ready to move to another state, Tania got into a car accident, and they are now staying in Connecticut for a little longer. They're over living in her mom's shed, however, and decide to move into a place of their own. But moving out means paying rent, and with Tania's injury preventing her from working, the pressure is all on Syngin to find a job. The stress of Tania's injury and the couple's financial struggles is getting to be too much for Syngin; plus, back in South Africa, his brother is sick, so he returns home for a visit, and a reluctant Tania tags along. With one disagreement after another, the couple isn't sure if they'll make it through the trip, or if it's time for Syngin to stay in South Africa for good.

Elizabeth, 29 (Tampa, Fla.) and Andrei, 33 (Moldova): After having baby Eleanor and feeling the weight of their ever-increasing financial responsibilities, Andrei is ready to take on a new role as a stay-at-home father while Elizabeth returns to work. It doesn't take long, however, before Andrei decides that they're due for some family time back in Moldova. The couple makes plans to travel to Moldova for a second wedding ceremony so that Andrei's family can attend, and Elizabeth's family is invited to come along. The family is taken by surprise however, especially when they find out that Andrei expects Elizabeth's father to pay for it. Tensions rise as the big trip and wedding approach, and Elizabeth's family uncovers a secret from Andrei's past that makes her reluctant to follow through with the ceremony.

Paul, 35 (Louisville, Ky.) and Karine, 23 (Brazil): After a few months of living in Brazil, Paul was finally able to sponsor Karine for a green card so that she can move to the United States. They are ready to pack up and leave Brazil, which Paul hopes is a permanent move. Karine is willing to take this leap and head over to the states for the first time in her life but worries that Paul might not be able to find a good job and help provide for their baby Pierre. Along with the uncertainty of their living situation, Karine is sad to be moving so far from her family and wonders if she'll be able to handle the distance.

Angela, 53 (Hazlehurst, Ga.) and Michael, 31 (Nigeria): Having started off their journey on BEFORE THE 90 DAYS, Angela and Michael have gone through hardship after hardship to pursue their happily ever after. With Michael's K-1 Visa denied, Angela is faced with the tough decision of giving up her dream of an American wedding to marry Michael in Nigeria. But a scary new development with Angela's fertility has the couple rethinking their commitment to each other. To make matters worse, Michael's family worries that Angela is not a suitable wife for him and threatens their plan to tie the knot.
