Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Dan Patrick, NFL TURNING POINT uses audio and video from NFL Films to focus on crucial moments in several games the previous week, highlights the careers of fan-favorite players, covers the most relevant NFL topics and concludes with a preview of the upcoming Sunday Night Football game. Each week, NFL Films utilizes its unprecedented access to cover select games in its traditional behind-the-scenes, award-winning style. The crucial moment in each game -- its turning point -- will be examined in-depth and from all angles using NFL Films' unmatched cinematography, sideline and on-field audio as well as postgame access to players and coaches. Patrick concludes each show with a segment featuring his FOOTBALL NIGHT colleagues, covering the most relevant NFL topics and looking ahead to the upcoming Sunday Night Football game. The first episode highlighted: the Dallas Cowboys-New York Jets Sunday Night Football game, with Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis wired for sound during the Jets come-from-behind victory; the San Francisco 49ers-Seattle Seahawks game, with Jim Harbaugh wired for sound during his coaching debut; the New Orleans Saints-Green Bay Packers game, with exclusive audio from the field and benches for both teams; and "Michael Vick: Then and Now," which, in anticipation of his Sunday Night Football game against the Falcons, was a look back at Vick's career using NFL Films' library of sound from his time in Atlanta and Philadelphia. Season 2 opened with coverage of Peyton Manning's return, Robert Griffin III's first NFL start, and in-game audio from Michael Vick playing against the Cleveland Browns. Returning for its third season on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, host Dan Patrick covered these topics in the season opener: the 49ers win against the Packers, including the play of 49ers new WR Anquan Boldin; Sean Payton's return to the Saints and the team's win over the Falcons; and film study with Vikings RB Adrian Peterson.
