(That We Know Of)

Plot Synopsis

Ish was an ordinary 10-year-old boy until he learned that all 32 NFL stadiums also serve as secret strongholds of an otherworldly benevolent life force that he has been chosen to guard. That life force, once the core of a far-off peaceful planet, has been broken into shards, which are hidden in every NFL stadium around the country. An evil villain known as Sudden Death is determined to find these shards, reassemble them and end humanity. To stop Sudden Death, Ish is given the physical abilities of an NFL football player -- and a few additional super powers -- to battle on and off the gridiron. He must work with the Rusherz, the NFL superheroes representing all 32 teams, to stop the Blitz Botz, robots controlled by Sudden Death. Taught by his mentor O.T. and guided by NFL players and coaches, Ish learns exactly what it takes to be a true hero. NFL RUSH ZONE returned for its second season on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 9pm on NickToons, with Ish and his family having relocated to Canton, OH, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, where Ish can learn more about his destiny as a Guardian. In Season 2, Ish must battle Wild Card, a new master villain -- and his wingman, Drop Kick -- who threaten to destroy not only the NFL, but also the world by targeting the 32 teams' Megacores. To help him against his new foe, Ish is joined by a new band of allies -- members of his local Youth Football Tackle league -- who will become known as The League of Guardians. NFL RUSH ZONE returned for its third season on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 8:30pm on NickToons, as Ish was still without his powers, having sacrificed them for the greater good of the NFL and the world. The Guardians -- Ash, Troy, Marty, Ricky and Tua -- do their best to keep Ish part of the group, but he struggles without being a full Guardian. Then, the stakes are raised when a spaceship lands in a lake near Canton, carrying three evil Anticorians -- Angkoro, Stellaria and Zich -- and their army of Blitz Borgs. They've come to Earth to help Sudden Death, who Ish defeated once before, but the evil leader is looking for revenge. After Sudden Death capture Ish, he offers to restore his powers if he proves his loyalty to him by stealing the Browns and Chargers Megacores. NFL RUSH ZONE was created in high definition for use on Jumbotrons in NFL stadiums across the country, and all 32 teams are represented. In Season 1, voice talent was provided by the following players and coaches: Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals wide receiver); Brian Dawkins (Denver Broncos free safety); Calvin Johnson (Detroit Lions wide receiver); Hall-of-Fame running back Marcus Allen (Los Angeles Raiders/Kansas City Chiefs); Sean Payton (New Orleans Saints head coach); Eli Manning (New York Giants quarterback); Steven Jackson (St. Louis Rams running back); Norv Turner (San Diego Chargers head coach). The series also features the voices of NFL personalities Shannon Sharpe (legendary Pro Bowl tight end and NFL commentator) and Bob Papa (NFL Network and New York Giants sportscaster). Season 2 featured these NFL players and coaches: Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson; Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware; Pro Football Hall of Famers Jim Brown, Richard Dent and Mike Ditka; brothers and head coaches Jim and John Harbaugh of the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, respectively; the New England Patriots' Stephen Gostkowski and Rob Gronkowski; and more iconic and star personnel from each team. NickToons aired the Season 3 premiere on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 8:30pm ET. Season 3 featured voices of the following NFL personnel: San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis; Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte; Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III; Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson; Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis; Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice; Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin; Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt; Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson; Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden; San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews; and many more players and coaches.
