Plot Synopsis

Each 30-minute episode follows one individual's journey as they struggle with hiding an embarrassing secret about their body while seeking help from psychotherapist Anjula Mutanda to ease their inner demons and surgeons to address the physical nature of their conditions. These individuals grapple with revealing their painful secrets to family and friends, but can they ultimately come to terms with their body issues and finally get the medical help that will transform their lives? Body issues include: Folliculitis Decalvans; vascular birth mark; tummy tuck issues; eczema; excess skin; asymmetrical breasts; overly large breasts; man boobs; tumors; extreme facial hair; and many other hidden medical conditions. This series had its U.K. premiere on October 9, 2011 at 10pm. Season 2 premiered on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 10pm ET with back-to-back new episodes featuring diastasis recti and severe psoriasis.
