Plot Synopsis

Bob Costas and Tom Verducci sit down with former Major League Baseball (MLB) players, who discuss their fondest memories and relive their favorite moments from their most unforgettable games. In each 60-minute episode, Costas and Verducci chat with one former player, including: Cal Ripken Jr., who discussed the night in September 1995 he played his 2,131st consecutive game and broke Hall-of-Famer Lou Gehrig's streak of games played; John Smoltz, who relived his complete-game shutout to win Game Seven of the 1991 NLCS; Ozzie Smith, who reminisced about his walkoff home run to end Game Five of the 1985 NLCS; Bob Gibson, who talked about his record-setting 17-strikeout performance in Game One of the 1968 World Series; Johnny Bench, who recounted his game-tying home run during Game Five of the 1972 NLCS; and Tom Glavine, who chronicled his eight shutout innings to clinch Game Six of the 1995 World Series.
