MY MILLION DOLLAR INVENTION is a one-hour documentary series that explores inventions and introduces the men and women who dedicated -- and often risked -- their lives to follow their vision and ultimately change the world. According to GATSO, the company founded by Monte Carlo racing champion and inventor Maurice Gatsonides, for one of its segments, the series travels to "Haarlem (Netherlands) to explore the origins and history of traffic enforcement -- from the design of race cars to the design of the first speed measurement device." On Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, Smithsonian Channel aired a sneak-peek episode, which chronicles the stories of body armor, the gas mask, chloroform and the wingsuit, and MY MILLION DOLLAR INVENTION officially premiered almost two months later on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, which featured the electric chair, the Ouija board, roller coasters and dynamite.
