Plot Synopsis

MY FRIENDS CALL MY JOHNNY is a half-hour interview series that follows Jean 'Johnny' Pigozzi, the self-proclaimed inventor of the selfie, as he travels the globe to ask the most personal questions of his celebrity friends. As the heir to a European auto fortune, photographer, art collector, successful tech investor, jetsetter and creator of the men's clothing brand LimoLand, Johnny has traveled in the same stylish circles as the rich and famous his entire life -- always with his trusty Leica camera in hand. Now, each 30-minute episode of this series features Johnny having candid conversations with at least three film icons, music moguls, and other VIPs, including: director Brett Ratner, French writers Virginie Mouzat & Capucine Motte, and businessman Dov Charney (first episode); actor Michael Douglas, photographer Tierney Gearon and chef Mario Batali; TV producer Lorne Michaels, art dealer Jeffrey Deitch, and director Jean-Pierre Jeunet; and more tastemakers, like producer Stephen Chao, chefs Martha Stewart & Roy Choi, hotelier Andre Balazs, fashion moguls Calvin Klein & Giambattista Valli, PR maven Peggy Siegal, and publisher Jann Wenner.
