Plot Synopsis

From their home in the swamps near Shreveport, Louisiana, the Clampets travel to the Hamptons in New York (Season 1), where they take over a $4 million house for their Summer vacation, a fancy British estate (Season 2), and a road trip across America (Season 3). From polo lessons to wine-tasting to a truly Hamptons nuptial, this rowdy bunch is in for a Summer they'll never forget, as the yokels mix it up with the locals in this clash of cultures. Then in Season 2, they trade their ritzy Hamptons vacation home for fish and chips and travel to destinations including Scotland, where they hunt for the Loch Ness Monster, heading over to Paris for a romantic weekend, or hosting their own Redneck Summer Games. Host and funnyman Tom Arnold gives his two cents on how the Clampets are adapting to their new lifestyle. For the show's third season, which premiered on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 9pm ET, the Clampetts embarked on an American road trip to places like Miami, Washington D.C. and Mount Rushmore.
