MTV aired the 11th annual awards live on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 9-10pm ET (live)/PT (tape) from the 2015 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, with host Jack Antonoff of Bleachers. Featured performers include James Bay, Fall Out Boy, Big Sean and Years & Years. Fall Out Boy was also honored for their years of music superstardom and intense loyalty to their fans with the first-ever induction to the "Hall Of Wood," while Zoe Kravitz, Tove Lo, The Fat Jew, and Marina & The Diamonds, Ellar Coltrane, A$AP Rocky, MisterWives, Rae Sremmurd and Hoodie Allen will be on hand to present awards throughout the night. Hosted by A$AP Rocky, the MTV Woodies/10 for 16 highlights the 10 new artists primed to have an amazing year in 2016. Airing live on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 9pm ET (live)/PT (tape) from the South By Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, the event spotlighted an eclectic roster of artists including Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, A$AP Ferg, BORNS, The Chainsmokers, CHVRCHES, Jack Garratt, Jidenna, Kehlani, Lukas Graham and Travis Scott. In the spirit of music discovery that drives SXSW, MTV Woodies/10 for 16 has a newly reimagined format this year -- and a new name -- with more music, less awards, and a focus on these select emerging artists, their fans, and the established artists who support them.
