Plot Synopsis

Australian celebrity chef Pete Evans travels across America, teaming up with the country's most innovative chefs and food artisans to create spontaneous, delicious feasts in beautiful settings. MOVEABLE FEAST WITH FINE COOKING follows Pete and local chefs as they source the finest ingredients for their dishes. Afterwards, they join forces and work against the clock to prepare a multi-course menu for an eclectic, enthusiastic, and ravenous group of foodies. From California's wine country to the bustling skyline of NYC, each half-hour episode features a pop-up feast in a different location, including: Penthouse Loft (Seattle, WA), where Pete is joined by Seattle chefs Tom Douglas and Thierry Rautureau to throw a Northwest seafood feast after a day of crabbing and fishing for sand dabs on the Puget Sound and a trip to Pike Place Market for fresh squid and Pacific Northwest-style veggies; Cookhouse (San Francisco, CA), where San Francisco chefs Jeffrey Saad and Cortney Burns help Pete create a feast laden with spices from an expedition to Pacific Heights shop Spice Ace and dark chocolate wafers for baking at the bean-to-bar producer TCHO; Millstone Farm (Wilton, CT), where, with Tropical Storm Andrea as the backdrop, famed Connecticut chefs Jacques Pepin, Bill Taibe, and Tim LaBant join Pete to gather local heritage eggs and local baby turnips and greens; and many other locations where foodies enjoy dinners featuring some of the best local ingredients. Special guests chefs for Season 2 included April Bloomfield, John Folse, Gabrielle Hamilton, Stephanie Izard, Gabriel Rucker, Jeffrey Saad, Bill Taibe, and more.
