Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, THE MORNING SHOW is a cutthroat drama series that explores the world of morning news and the ego, ambition and the misguided search for power behind the people who help America wake up in the morning. The first three episodes of THE MORNING SHOW premiered on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Apple TV+ released the series on the same day the streaming network launched.

THE MORNING SHOW returned for its 10-episode second season on Friday, September 17, 2021, as Apple TV+ released the first episode of the new season. A new episode drops each Friday through November 19. Picking up after the explosive events of last season, Season 2 finds "The Morning Show" team emerging from the wreckage of Alex and Bradley's actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play. The new season introduces new characters: Stella Bak, a tech world wunderkind who has joined the UBA executive team; Ty Fitzgerald, a smart and charismatic YouTube star; Eric Nomani, a new member of the Morning Show team; Cybil Richards, the savvy chairwoman of the UBA board; news producer Gayle Berman; documentary filmmaker Paola Lambruschini; and Laura Peterson, a UBA news anchor.
