Plot Synopsis

Cameras follow players, coaches, and front-office personnel of Major League Baseball (MLB) teams, as they battle for a spot in the playoffs and then try to advance to the World Series. Each 30-minute episode follows a single MLB team during a late-season weekend series, starting with the Pittsburgh Pirates, who played the San Francisco Giants from Thursday, August 22 through Sunday, August 25, as the Bucs continued their quest to reach the postseason for the first time in 21 years. The teams featured in subsequent episodes will be determined each week as the postseason races develop and postseason series are contended. The series will end with a one-hour episode, scheduled to air the Monday following the conclusion of the World Series.
