Plot Synopsis

MIRACULOUS: TALES OF LADYBUG AND CAT NOIR is a half-hour animated action/comedy series that tells the story of 13-year-old Marinette, a charismatic girl who magically transforms into a courageous, vivacious superhero named Ladybug, who saves the day for the citizens of Paris by using her newly acquired superhero powers, mysterious lucky charms and the unique power of creation. As a young teen female superhero and unchallenged protector of Paris, Ladybug partners with sidekick, Cat Noir, to fight crime and save the beautiful City of Lights. Surprisingly, Ladybug and Cat Noir do not know each other's true identities. Marinette is unaware that, beneath the Cat Noir suit nestles Adrien, her secret school crush. Similarly, Adrien doesn't know that Ladybug is really just Marinette, a rather plain girl in his class. Nickelodeon aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Noon ET/PT.

On Friday, July 28, 2023, Netflix released MIRACULOUS: LADYBUG & CAT NOIR, THE MOVIE, the first feature film based on the TV series. This 102-minute animated movie follows ordinary teenager Marinette, whose life in Paris goes superhuman when she becomes Ladybug. Bestowed with magical powers of creation, Ladybug must unite with her opposite, Cat Noir, to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos unto the city. Voices include: Cristina Valenzuela, Bryce Papenbrook, Keith Silverstein, Paul St. Peter, Carrie Keranen, Mela Lee, Max Mittelman, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Zeno Robinson, Selah Victor, Cassandra Lee Morris, and more.
