Plot Synopsis

Inspired by a Jack London story but set in contemporary Madrid, THE MINIONS OF MIDAS is a one-hour series that centers on Victor, a millionaire newspaper publisher, who gets a blackmail note just as Monica, a reporter, is about to break a Syrian war story that implicates him. The plot thickens when the extortionists make good on their threats, but also throw Victor a lifeline when he least expects it. As more and more people die under mysterious circumstances, Victor's guilt hits a zenith and his world begins to crumble. Protests erupt in Madrid. On Friday, November 13, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire six-episode series.
