Plot Synopsis

In this 15-minute animated series, Iron Mike answers any plea for help sent to him via carrier pigeon, and then he and the Mike Tyson Mystery Team -- the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry, Mike's adopted Korean daughter Yung Hee, and a foul-mouthed beer-drinking pigeon who was once a man -- investigate the person's unsolved mystery. Each quarter-hour episode features a different case, including: Cormac McCarthy (guest voice Damon Jones), whose latest novel is unfinished -- and for some reason turns to Iron Mike to help him find the ending; a legion of businessmen robots that must be exposed; a search for Bobby Fischer, which leads them to find his brain trapped inside Deep Blue, IBM's chess-playing computer; and many more mysteries. One week before its television debut, Adult Swim released the premiere episode online on its YouTube channel on Monday, October 20. Season 2 of MIKE TYSON MYSTERIES premiered at 12:15am ET/PT late night Sunday, November 1, 2015 (early morning Monday, November 2) on Adult Swim. Season 2 mysteries are even more hilariously banal than the first season, as the team tackles tough cases like these: "What really goes on inside a house when it's being tented for termites?" "Who gave the team a bad review online?" And "Can Mike find a sleeveless/shorts version of tracksuit for the summer?" MIKE TYSON MYSTERIES returned for its third season on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 11:30pm ET/PT on Adult Swim. In Season 3, Mike Tyson and the team -- Yung Hee, Mike's adopted Korean daughter and all-around buzzkill; Pigeon, a filthy disgusting man trapped in a filthy disgusting bird; and Marquess, a ghost whose favorite time of day is "wine-thirty" -- are back and ready to (attempt to) solve more mysteries! Highlights include: a retelling of the team's very first mystery! A mystery so complicated that Mike gives up! A trip to the car wash! Dinner at a neighbor's house! and more.
