Plot Synopsis

Mike and Molly are a working class Chicago couple who meet and find love at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. Mike Biggs is a good-hearted cop who sincerely wants to lose weight, and his partner, Carl, encourages him on his road to slimness -- and romance. Molly Flynn doesn't have quite the same support system. Even though she's an instantly likeable fourth-grade teacher with a good sense of humor about her curves, she struggles to make smart choices because her sexy older sister, Victoria, and their mother, Joyce, both flaunt their effortless figures while indulging their healthy appetites. Mike and Molly found each other in the most unexpected of places. At the end of Season 2 -- and after many speed bumps before finally walking down the aisle -- Mike and Molly married each other. Season 3 begins with the couple returning from their Paris honeymoon, as they start the next chapter of their lives together as newlyweds.
