Plot Synopsis

Filmed on a set that resembles her actual home, host Meredith Vieira offers a mix of lifestyle segments and feel-good human interest stories -- from everyday people to celebrity guests who have important stories to tell. In a May 5, 2014 press release, NBC announced that: Everett Bradley, who plays with Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, will lead the house band; and Jon Harris, a longtime collaborator of Vieira and her husband Richard, has been named as the show's announcer. THE MEREDITH VIEIRA SHOW, a one-hour daily syndicated program, premiered on Monday, September 8, 2014 (check local listings for channel and time), with Meredith chatting with Jennifer Lopez about her family life and her relationships. Plus, Meredith was joined by the members of "Dancing Dreams," an inspiring dance troupe specifically created for children with physical challenges and surprises them with their lifelong dream.
