Plot Synopsis

Live on weekends from 10am - Noon, host Melissa Harris-Perry discusses politics from her own perspective -- that of a feminist, African-American from the South -- allowing her to consider issues beyond the D.C.-to-New York corridor. Harris-Perry is a professor of political science at Tulane University, where she is founding director of the Anna Julia Cooper Project on Gender, Race, and Politics in the South. She previously appeared as a frequent guest on THE RACHEL MADDOW SHOW.
