Plot Synopsis

Each Sunday at 11am ET/8am PT, Howard Kurtz hosts this live, one-hour program that focuses on the state of the news media in addition to the media's shaping of current events and their role in politics. During the program, panelists debate the week's hottest press issues, covering a wide range of topics, including technology, social media, politics, culture and sports. Plus, top journalists join MEDIABUZZ for in-depth interviews, and Lauren Ashburn, the Daily Download editor in chief, joins Kurtz as a frequent contributor. Finally, Kurtz uses social media to stay in touch with viewers, even during the show by reading the best tweets on the air.
