Plot Synopsis

Based on real moments from Masaba Gupta's life, MASABA MASABA is a scripted series that features the real-life mother-daughter duo, Masaba and Neena Gupta, playing fictionalized versions of themselves, as Masaba straddles the worlds fashion and family, while going back into the dating world. The series opens hours ahead of a fashion awards event, where designer-to-the-stars Masaba is caught off guard by gossip across the city about her marriage. Masaba then deals with social scrutiny, professional pressure, and life back at her mother's house. Neena scores a meeting with a popular filmmaker. Next, apartment-hunting as a single woman proves challenging, but Masaba is determined to live alone. Neena makes a brave move on social media. On Friday, August 28, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the six-episode first season of MASABA MASABA.
