Plot Synopsis

MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE is a one-hour reality series that follows the wife-and-husband team of Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson, as they juggle their busy professional and personal lives while helping clients land their perfect home in a dream neighborhood. Egypt finds affordable properties in desirable locations, while Mike and his team transform the house into a dream home.

On Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Noon ET/PT, HGTV premiered a sneak-peek episode. In this special preview, "Marietta Square, If You Dare," Egypt and Mike tackle the issues on a budget-friendly property to get two young parents into the coveted Marietta Square area of suburban Atlanta.

MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE makes its official series debut on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the series opener, "Midcentury Mission," first-time buyers who are obsessed with getting a midcentury home in the perfect Atlanta suburb are running out of options and time. Egypt and Mike find an incredibly dated property to renovate into the vintage dream home they have their hearts set on.

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Noon ET/PT, HGTV premiered a sneak-peek episode of MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE's second season. In this special episode, "Open to Entertaining," Egypt and Mike help a couple get out of their apartment and create a refined modern farmhouse with a home office and space for entertaining.

The 12-episode sophomore season of MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE debuted on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. Real estate broker and designer Egypt Sherrod and her husband, expert builder Mike Jackson, help more families buy houses with potential in their ideal Atlanta neighborhoods and transform them into stunning dream homes. To start the season, Egypt and Mike convince a couple to snatch up a Dunwoody property that needs a massive overhaul to create a livable open concept. The new modern farmhouse design features a waterfall island and dark green tile backsplash in the kitchen and a must-have home office with a hidden closet and en suite bathroom. On the family front, Egypt and Mike search for the perfect nursery school for three-year-old Harper and celebrate her milestone first day together. Throughout the episodes, the adventures continue as they conquer Harper's potty training, teach older daughter Kendall how to manage money and adjust to living with their new puppy, Serene.
