Plot Synopsis

MARRIED TO MEDICINE is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of women from Atlanta, who are doctors and wives of doctors, as they juggle their careers, family, social calendars and friendships. From baby deliveries to some of Atlanta's largest charities, these women are united by medicine. Season 1 featured: Jacqueline Walters -- a doctor to stars like Toni Braxton, T.I., and Usher -- who is a board-certified OBGYN, two-time breast-cancer survivor, and has a daughter, Kursten, through her marriage to husband Curtis; Kari Wells, the British-born model and CFO of her husband's orthopedic practice and medical realty company, who has two children, Alexa (8) and Bryson (7), with her husband of 10 years, Colombian raised, orthopedic surgeon Duncan Wells; Mariah Huq, the founder/CEO of Mariah Media Group and a producer of MARRIED TO MEDICINE, who has two children, Lauren-Taylor (8) and Ethan-Tyler (6), with husband Dr. Aydin Huq, an emergency physician and native of Bangladesh; Quad Webb-Lunceford, a medical sales representative, who is newly wed to psychiatrist Dr. Gregory Lunceford, a man with a reserved demeanor that often clashes with her feistiness; Simone Whitmore, an independent OBGYN, who has two sons, Miles (14) and Michael (10), with husband Cecil Whitmore; and Toya Bush-Harris, a pharmaceutical rep, who has two boys, Ashton (3) and Avery (1), with husband Eugene, while helping him launch his medical concierge business.

On Sunday, April 6, 2014, Bravo aired encore episodes of Season 1 of MARRIED TO MEDICINE from 8am-4pm ET/PT, followed by the show's Season 2 premiere at 9pm ET/PT. For the second season, Toya, Mariah, Jacqueline, Quad and Simone are joined by two newcomers: entrepreneur Lisa Nicole Cloud, the CEO of several successful companies, who has launched The Lisa Nicole Collection, is married to Dr. Darren Naugles and is the mother of DJ and Amira; and Dr. Heavenly Kimes, dentist and founder of Heavenly Dental Associates, who has been happily married to Dr. Damon Kimes for 15 years and has 3 kids and 4 dogs. Season 2 opened with broken friendships, as Quad discovers long-time BFF Mariah has been talking behind her back. Meanwhile, Dr. Jackie shocks Dr. Simone with news that she wants a baby. Later, at Dr. Heavenly's cocktail party, sparks fly as Toya accuses Dr. Simone of inappropriate behavior with Toya's husband.

Meanwhile, Dr. Heavenly may bite off more than she can chew as an entrepreneur, relationship expert, dentist and mother, but faces a daunting dilemma when her husband pressures her to spend more time at home. Always reaching for the stars, Toya is on a mission to prove that she's not just a doctor's wife and helps Eugene take his medical concierge business to the next level. When Quad and Lisa run background checks on each other, the results reveal shocking transgressions that leave the two at odds.

Dr. Jackie has her mind set on her ever-growing career and philanthropy goals, but is that enough for her husband Curtis who is more interested in their early retirement? While Toya is ready to celebrate her 40th birthday in style, she is also in over her head with some unexpected debts and the opening of a new vitamin infusion spa. Dr. Heavenly is on a mission to revamp her attitude and change the ladies' perception of her, but her efforts go unnoticed when she ruffles a few feathers.
