Plot Synopsis

Couples with long-standing arguments or unresolved issues appear to state their cases, allowing celebrities and a relationship referee to make peace and finally decide who is right and who is wrong. These couples might argue about parenting, pets, fashion, money, in-laws, weight, housework, chores, communication, neatness, jealousy, past history, friends, sex, a third wheel, or annoying habits. Pretty much anything is fair game, and no problem is too small for THE MARRIAGE REF. NBC aired a half-hour sneak peek of this series on Sunday, February 28, 2010, immediately after the Closing Ceremony for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics -- only four days before the official series premiere on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
