Plot Synopsis

Using archival footage, re-enactments, and in-depth interviews with eye witnesses as well as the agents, policemen, and intelligence agents who brought these criminals to justice, each one-hour episode of MANHUNT: KILL OR CAPTURE chronicles the chase and ultimate takedown of a notorious criminal leader. This series profiles the following infamous masterminds: Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, who dominated the infamous Medellin cocaine cartel and turned the Colombian nation into a living nightmare; Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman, whose drug empire left a trail of carnage in Mexico and turned American cities into powder kegs; Viktor Bout, a Russian arms dealer also known as the 'Merchant of Death,' who was captured by the DEA in an undercover mission codenamed 'Operation Relentless'; and many more notorious criminal leaders.
