Plot Synopsis

Based on Walter Tevis' 1963 novel of the same name, THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH is a sci-fi drama series that follows a new alien character, Faraday, who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and must confront his own past to determine our future. Faraday is summoned by Thomas Newton, the first alien to arrive on Earth 40 years earlier, to complete his original mission, because Newton's time marooned among human beings has cost him everything -- possibly even his sanity. Once he's on Earth, Faraday develops a surprising relationship with gifted scientist and engineer Josiah Falls, bringing about the next step in human evolution. Josiah's daughter, Justin, is also a brilliant scientist and engineer -- one who must conquer her own demons in the race to save two worlds.
