Plot Synopsis

MAMA DRAMA follows five mothers who refuse to grow up, as this group of women live together in a Las Vegas penthouse for five weeks with their adult daughters who are their best friends. The mothers on this series represent the 15/50 mentality, which simply means the have they body of a 50-year-old but act as if they are 15. These moms copy their daughters' fashion and night-life decisions, trying to stay young forever, and prefer to be their daugthers' best friends rather than fill the traditional role of a mother. In the penthouse, there are no therapists, no hosts and no butlers, just five sets of wildly different women trying to work out their issues under the same roof. Living under a microscope -- and with other women of very different parenting styles -- will these mothers re-evaluate their life choices? Will the daughters realize that having a fun, party-loving mom might not be the best thing for them? These mothers are: Loren S (from Power Springs, GA), who is the 39-year-old mother of 21-year-old twin daughters Whitney and Britney and even though she has a master's degree in marketing, she still parties with her twentysomething girls; Gina O (Baltimore, MD) and her daughter Marcella P who go everywhere together and flaunt their matching outfits, encouraging people to take pictures as they act like celebrities; Debbie D (Butler, NJ) whose diet consists of whipped cream Vodka and water and who borrows clothes from her daughter Gina; Jay Thompson, a nurse who no longer has a belly button thanks to plastic surgery, who spends hours in front of the mirror with her 23-year-old daughter Vanessa before they hit the bars together; and Sharon C (Houston, TX), a consultant who considers herself to be an African-American version of Samantha from SEX & THE CITY, who her daughter Ashley says is like having a best friend and a worst enemy at the same time.
