Plot Synopsis

Bowman Gray Stadium, a quarter-mile racetrack in Winston-Salem, NC, is NASCAR's longest weekly racetrack, celebrating its 61st season of racing in 2009. At Bowman Gray, daring local drivers show their love of cars and savvy ingenuity as they retool, redesign, rebuild and re-customize their cars for the big race each Saturday night. This program shows the lives of the competitors, including race-day preparation, day-to-day life, and the races themselves. You'll quickly find out why it's called the Madhouse since ramming, spin-outs and fistfights are all part of a night at the races.
