Plot Synopsis

Musical pioneers have achieved the ultimate in fame and fortune, despite their demons and personal struggles. This 30-minute series explores the lives and stories of these brilliant but rebellious artists, looking past the sensational gossip headlines and exploring how their visions and eccentricities produced groundbreaking music. Using interviews with music executives, producers, friends, bandmates and other artists, each episode provides insight into the contributions of artists whose talent and creativity are often overshadowed by their personal lives.
