Using re-creations and interviews with family members, friends, local law enforcement, true-crime experts and suspects, LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE is a one-hour series that chronicles real-life crime stories in which the truth is disputed. From suicides that could be staged, to murder disguised as self-defense, this series examines the fine line between evil and innocent. Each 60-minute episode of LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE follows one of these highly disputable real crime from dueling perspectives -- those who believe the suspect is guilty, and those who proclaim the suspect's innocence: Tom Foley and his wife Darlene exude wedded bliss to outsiders, but one of them is fatally shot in a break-in gone awry -- or something far more sinister; Bonny Lee Bakley, who met movie star Robert Blake, sparking a relationship that would make headlines for years to come; Eddie Baugus and Shannon Tyler, who shared many a passion for the outdoors, their families, and hot-headedness; Stephen Nodine and Angel Downs, who make a glamorous socialite pair -- but Angel is Stephen's mistress; Kent and Laurie Alexander, who had their very private problem become public after police find a body in their home; and Pegye and Eric Bechler, who appeared to be the perfect couple -- but one of them goes missing in a boating accident.
