Plot Synopsis

Ten single men and 10 single women, all looking for love, embark on dating adventures in the jungles of Costa Rica (Season 1) or the Dominican Republic (Season 2), as they try to find that someone special while avoiding elimination. In each episode, couples pair up for a new adventure -- paddling down crocodile-ridden waters, navigating through bat-infested caves, or descending down a majestic waterfall -- with the winning couple sharing a night together at the "Oasis," a lavish, five-star bungalow overflowing with everything they could possibly desire for an intimate night of romance. The remaining couples stay in the "Cabins," the less luxurious accommodations where they socialize. At the end of each episode, the couples reveal whether they made a connection or if they'd rather get to know somebody else, and two heartbroken singles are sent home. When the season ends, one couple is left, having completed the adventure -- and maybe finding their love -- of a lifetime. Samantha Woods and Mike Spiro won Season 1, earning a trip around the world together. One year later, after Samantha moved to San Francisco, they're planning their wedding.
