Plot Synopsis

Each episode of LONG ISLAND MEDIUM: EXTENDED EPISODE is 35-40 minutes in duration, featuring extended scenes with never-before-seen footage of LONG ISLAND MEDIUM. Real-life psychic medium Theresa Caputo balances her personal life with her work, where she takes clients on an emotional and spiritual journey with the afterlife. Theresa spends her workdays helping individuals find closure and connects people to their loved ones who have passed in order to validate that they are still with them. At home, her husband Larry and children Victoria and Larry have learned to live with Theresa's mediumship, but it is certainly trying on their relationships because Theresa cannot turn off her gift. Whether she is grocery shopping or getting her nails done, someone from the other side is constantly trying to contact her to pass a message on and she's sometimes compelled to spontaneously give messages to people anywhere she goes. Between the spirit world and our world, there is Theresa's world, where she is simply trying to strike a happy medium between her family life, work like, and the afterlife. Season 3 includes a number of significant family events, such as Theresa's son Larry Jr.'s college graduation, her daughter Victoria leaving for college, and Theresa's birthday. The new season also features more emotional readings, including a woman's healing process after her daughter's tragic death and a woman's deceased husband who delivers a message she's been longing for.
