Plot Synopsis

Darren McMullan, Laura Whitmore and Dave Berry host THE BEAT OF LONDON, a daily half-hour program that features interviews with athletes and celebrities as well as musical performances from the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. In the first episode, Mark Ronson and Katy B discussed their Olympic experience, including their anxiety carrying the torch. Plus, the duo ended the program with a musical performance. In the rest of the show, Berry went on the streets to find music, presenting The Jezabels performing an acoustic version of "Endless Summer." Then, the hosts participated in "Beat the Body," a DDR-like competition that pit people from various countries competing for the highest score. Plus, former US Olympic gymnast and DANCING WITH THE STARS winner Shawn Johnson joined the trio in studio. Originating in the UK, where it aired weekdays at 6:30pm on ITV2, this 10-episode series aired in 30 countries around the world.
