Plot Synopsis

LOCKUP goes inside Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ, where the series chronicles what really happens every day inside this prison. EXTENDED STAY NEW JERSEY documents an inmate, Enrique Cruz, telling food servers, "It's my way or no way"; a gang leader's authority being challenged by another inmate; a threat against an officer that leads to a major shakedown; an alleged gang leader who seems to attract trouble; a high-speed chase ending with the discovery of a murder victim; and many more activities, tribulations and issues from inside jail.
