Plot Synopsis

LIFE'S A TRIP is a half-hour reality series that follows actor Patrick Warburton and his eldest son, Talon, as they embark on a road trip across America to discover the crazy, beautiful and always inspiring traditions and legacies that make up the American family. Whether it's smashing up cars in a demolition derby in Missouri, whizzing across the Alaskan tundra on the back of a dog sled or driving a herd of cattle across the plains, they'll take us to incredible places to meet fascinating people as they challenge their perceptions and put their mental and physical skills to the test. On Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 12:30pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the pilot of LIFE'S A TRIP, but the cable channel had no other episodes scheduled at that time. In the pilot, "Horsing Around," Patrick and Talon visit a 31,000-acre cattle ranch just a couple of hours north of Hollywood in a place that looks like the set of an old John Wayne movie, where six generations of the Rankin family have been living the cowboy dream for over 150 years.
