Plot Synopsis

LIFE WITH BOYS is a scripted sitcom that follows 14-year-old Tess Foster, the only girl living in a house full of boys, as she deals with the turmoil of teen life, her overprotective dad and her overzealous brothers. Tess is a typical teenage girl who loves clothes and boys, but also loves wrestling. After having spent her life wrestling her three brothers, she picked up more than a few skills that make her perfect for the wrestling team her father coaches -- except that boys hate losing to girls. Luckily, her best friend, Allie, is always there to help her with all of life's big decisions. Allie is a bright and popular cheerleader who knows fashion and is a regular fixture at the Foster household, which includes: 16-year-old Gabe, a heartthrob and self-professed babe magnet, who, as the oldest Foster sibling, is always happy to offer advice based on his life experience; Sam, Allie's twin brother, who dreams of marrying Allie, even though he's nerdy and not-so-athletic; eight-year-old Spencer, the youngest sibling, who is cute and scary-smart, using everything to his advantage; and father Jack, a high-school teacher and coach at the kids' school, who tries his best to raise his kids even though they think he's too involved in their private lives. Michael Poryes, who created LIFE WITH BOYS, was also responsible for HANNAH MONTANA and THAT'S SO RAVEN. TeenNick aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 8pm ET, showing back-to-back episodes.
