Plot Synopsis

This half-hour action comedy family animated TV series centers on the adventures of four ninjas: Kai, the Red Ninja of Fire, uses his sword first and asks questions later; Jay, the Blue Ninja of Lightning, glides through the air and strikes with his nunchucks; Cole, the Black Ninja of Earth, is the stick-wielding leader of the team; and Zane, the White Ninja of Ice, usually waits for just the right time to attack with his shuriken. NINJAGO returned for its second season on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 7-8pm ET/PT, as Cartoon Network showed back-to-back new episodes. The Overlord is back, his army is rising, and the ninjas must save the day. Cartoon Network premiered the fourth season of this series on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 6:30pm ET/PT. Season 4, The Tournament of Elements, brings new challenges to the Ninja. The loss of Zane in the battle against the Overlord has fractured and disassembled the Ninja team, but when they receive a mysterious invitation to an unrecorded island for Master Chen's "Tournament of Elements," they get wind that their friend could still be alive. To get him back, they'll not only have to face others gifted with unique elemental powers, but eventually battle each other. NINJAGO returned for its fifth season on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 6:30pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network. On Monday, May 15, 2017 at 5:30pm ET/PT, Cartoon Network premiered the seventh season of NINJAGO. In the season opener, "The Hands of Time," Master Wu engages in a battle with one of the twin Hands of Time, but the Ninja arrive at the monastery just in time.

On Friday, May 26, 2017 at 5:30pm ET/PT, Cartoon Network premiered the season finale of NINJAGO. In the season ender, "Lost in Time," Kai and Nya stow away with the Hands of Time to save Master Wu, and must help the Elemental Masters prevent Krux and Acronix from re-writing NinjaGo history.
