Plot Synopsis

Five female athletes -- a boxer, fitness guru, wakeboarder, rugby player and kettleball lifter -- leave the United Kingdom to travel the globe and experience life as female members of the world's most remote tribes. They exerience the rites of passage and practice the tribe's ancient sporting rituals before taking on the local women in a head-to-head competition. From Huka Huka Wrestling in Brazil to Bamboo Raft Racing in the Philippines and from Water Buffalo Racing in Indonesia to Tarahumara Mountain Endurance contests in Mexico, all five women are setting out with one aim -- to test themselves physically and emotionally, returning with their pride and bodies in tact. Planet Green aired the U.S. premiere of LAST WOMAN STANDING on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 10pm.
