Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Justin Willman, each one-hour episode of KING OF CONES features four dessert professionals, who face-off in elimination ice-cream challenges as they vie for the $10,000 weekly prize. In each 60-minute episode, a giant ice cream truck arrives with a new theme and mystery ingredient -- foods like olives or stinky cheese -- challenging the contestants to use their skills, creativity and ingenuity to make incredible ice cream treats that include an array of seemingly incompatible flavors. At the end of each challenge, expert ice-cream tester John Harrison and two guest judges decide who advances in each round, with the winning ice-cream connoisseur scooping up $10,000 cash. The rotating panel of judges includes: Nancy Silverton & Zac Young (Episode 1); Johnny Iuzzini & Paulette Goto (Episode 2); Duff Goldman & Natasha Case (Episode 3); and Doug Quint & Paulette Goto (Episode 4).
