Plot Synopsis

This one-hour reality series follows a group of paranormal investigators who respond to reports of supernatural activity, as they delve into the history of infamous individuals who were active there and determine if they are responsible for present-day hauntings. THE KILLER CONTACT team includes: point man Austin Cook, a Civil War enthusiast from Franklin, TN, who has more than 10 years of paranormal experience; researcher Adam Leidenfrost, a South Dakota-based investigative reporter, who uses his research skills to dig into the backstories of locations and historical figures; ghost interrogator Greg Niecestro, co-founder of The Ghost Bros in Venice, CA, who began his foray into the investigative field in 2005 after communicating with a spirit through a stereo; tech guru Hector Barragan, founder of Southern Arizona Ghost and Paranormal Society (SAGAPS), who has been pursuing the paranormal for more than six years; and role player Molly O'Connolly, who has researched demons and demonology, parapsychology, cognitive processes and mental illness. In each 60-minute episode, the team investigates a single historical figure, such as: Jack the Ripper (London, England), who became the most famous serial killer when five women were found brutally murdered in 1888 in Whitechappel, a London slum; Vlad the Impaler (Romania), who was a prisoner in Hunyad Castle, where he is said to have learned the secret to eternal life -- by dining on his victim's blood; Lucrezia Borgia (Ferrara, Italy), who is rumored to have killed rivals of her family by seducing them, and then poisoning them with arsenic from a secret compartment in her ring; The Hellfire Club (Scotland & England), who were the most powerful men of 1730s by day, but met at night to fulfill their darkest fantasies, including murder; Lord Smoking Shell (Belize), a powerful and evil king of the Mayan Empire, who is rumored to have misused the power of human sacrifice; and The Butcher of Iquique (Chile), the nickname of General Roberto Silva Renard, who, along with his men, brutally slaughtered over 2,000 miners and their families during a strike at a saltpeter mine.
