Plot Synopsis

Based on the YouTube series KID PRESIDENT, this half-hour TV series follows 10-year-old Robby Novak (aka Kid President), as he interviews celebrities, interacts with families, and considers themes that provide inspirational messages for kids and families to change the world for the better. In each 30-minute episode of KID PRESIDENT: DECLARATON OF AWESOME, Kid President introduces a different theme that he explores through comedic vignettes, one-on-one talks with celebrities, and sit downs with a diverse collection of all-American families. In the premiere episode about heroes, Kid President imagines what it's like to be a superhero and talks with Kevin Costner to figure out what it takes to be someone who matters. During the first season, Kid President also sits down with these celebrities: Gene Simmons; Jamie Foxx; Craig Robinson; Mario Lopez; 'Weird Al' Yankovic; and plenty of other surprise celeb guests. Rainn Wilson is an executive producer of this series through his SoulPancake Television production company.
