Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, and series creator Valerie Armstrong, KEVIN CAN F**K HIMSELF is a dramedy series that ask what the world looks like through the eyes of the type of woman we all grew up believing we knew: the sitcom wife. Alternating between single-camera realism and multi-camera comedy, the series imagines what happens when the sitcom wife escapes her confines and takes the lead in her own life. Allison McRoberts is a woman we all grew up believing we knew: the prototypical sitcom wife. She's beautiful and can take a joke (though she's usually the butt of them). And she's married to a guy who must've won some sort of marriage lottery, because she looks the way she does and he's... funny. But what happens when we follow Allison out of her husband's domain? When she finally wakes up to -- and revolts against -- the injustices in her life? The story opens with Kevin throwing his annual "Anniversa-rager" party with the help of Patty, Neil and Pete. But, after Patty reveals the truth about her bank accounts, Allison goes on a bender and makes a decision to take back control of her life. The eight-episode first season of KEVIN CAN F**K HIMSELF kicked off on Sunday, June 13, 2021, as the first two episodes dropped on AMC+. The series makes its linear TV debut one week later -- on Sunday, June 20 -- from 9-11pm ET/PT on AMC. A new episode drops each Sunday on AMC+ through July 25, followed by its linear TV debut one week later on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC.

The eight-episode second and final season of KEVIN CAN F**K HIMSELF premiered on Monday, August 22, 2022, with AMC+ released two episodes and AMC airing the season opener at 9pm ET/PT. A new episode drops each Monday on AMC+, with that episode making its linear television debut one week later. In Season 2, Allison and Patty must deal with Neil's discovery of their dark secret, pushing Allison to find a better way out of her marriage to Kevin. Allison alters her original escape plan from Kevin. Patty once again agrees to help, but this time, on her own terms.
