Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode of JOSH GATES' DESTINATION TRUTH, Josh Gates travels the world -- from the vast deserts of Africa to the icy heights of the Himalayas -- as he searches for legendary creatures and mystifying monsters. This series is comprised of enhanced episodes of the original DESTINATION TRUTH series, featuring new content from the host, as the series moves from its original home, Syfy, to Travel Channel. Season 2 of JOSH GATES' DESTINATION TRUTH premiered on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT on Travel Channel. In the season opener, "The Search for the Irish Banshee," Josh heads to Ireland to investigate the cliff-side ruins of a medieval castle that the locals believe is home to a lethal phantom.

JOSH GATES' DESTINATION TRUTH's third season premiered on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on Travel Channel. In the season opener, "Giant Anaconda," Josh treks through the Brazilian jungle and travels down the Amazon River in search of a giant anaconda said to be over 100 feet long.
